Who: Parents and caregivers
What: Are you looking to be more mindful and positive in your daily life with your children? Come for one or more “Walking The Talk” workshops to explore a speciﬁc positive parenting topic together, and then break into small groups for walking and sharing with other parents. Get some fresh air and inspiration! Appropriate for parents of children of all ages; infants and toddlers in strollers welcome.
Where: Anderson Park (at Bellevue and N. Mountain avenues), Upper Montclair, NJ
When: Meetings take place Thursdays from 10 – 11 am. Dates and topics are as follows: June 5, “What’s Underlying a Child’s Behavior?”; June 12, “Listening is a Two-way Street”; June 19, “How Environmental Changes Help”; July 10, “To All a Good Night’s Sleep!”; July 17, “Appreciation is Better than Praise”; and July 24, “Cooperation is a Family Affair.”
Cost: RSVP/register online here by Tuesday before each meeting. One workshop for $10, three for $27 and six for $48.
