Parents Who Rock Holiday Concert

What:
Parents Who Rock is hosting a holiday concert on Church Street next to
the downtown tree. A local rock band will perform holiday classics for
you and your kids. Sing, dance or just hang out and listen.
Where: Church Street, next to the Christmas tree, downtown Montclair
When: Saturday, Dec. 20, noon to 2.30 p.m.
Cost:
Free, but donations are welcome and will benefit music instruction in
the Montclair public schools through the organization Little Kids Rock.

Oldies Cabaret to Benefit Luna Stage: Moon Shine
Who: All ages. I’m taking my twins and their grandparents this weekend.
What: Local performers includinng MSU students and alumni, 11
singers from national tours such as High School Musical, and one local
little girl, Claire Daddabbo, bring you songs from the gold old days.
Everyone will know the words to The Lion Sleeps Tonight and other
songs. All proceeds help keep the lights on at Luna.

The Chanukah collection includes a wild mix of musical styles including “Latke Man,” a retro-swing pop song; “The Funky Gold Menorah,” a kid-friendly hip-hop dance tune; “La Vida Dreidel,” a Jewish twist on Latin style; and “You Say Hanukah, (I say Chhhanukah),” a quirky steel drum, island-style number. Chanukah will never be the same!
