Montclair Art Museum’s Park Bench – Mountains

What: A program that introduces children to the museum and provides them with an artistic social outing. Local native Spanish educator Nieves Cespedes will conduct storytelling in Spanish. Breakfast refreshments are provided.

4th Annual NJ First Lego League Competition

What: 12 middle school robotics teams will compete with Lego Robots to move onto the state tournament the following weekend. Students have also created a project based on transportation. This season’s competition, Smart Moves, has students studying the current challenges in the local, state, or country’s transportation system and coming up with a viable solution. Local teams will be competing from Renaissance and Glenfield Middle Schools and from Verona middle school.
