Bilingual Storytime at the Bloomfield Library
Who: Bilingual families.
What: A family storytime in both Spanish and English.

Clearview Cinema Summer Kids’ Club
Who: Movie fans of G and PG films.
What: Free family movies played every Wednesday and Thursday morning.

Frog Pond Soup at the Library
Who: Ages 4 to 8.
What: Essex County Environmental Center comes to the Library to discuss what ingredients make a pond special. Try your ear at recognizing the peeps, quacks, chirps and trills that come from a pond habitat. Then create your own pond creature craft to take home.

State Fair 

Who: All ages.
What: The Fair‘s back with action-packed fun for the entire family. This year’s Fair features plenty of new and returning entertainment from dazzling performers, thrilling rides and fun games to exhibits, shopping and bargain ticket nights. Special events include the first annual Tomato Fight, world record setting Bubble Wrap Popping, BMX Stunt Show, Circus and Magic shows.  
Where: Meadowlands, 50 Route 120, East Rutherford, NJ.
When: Wednesday, June 30 thru Monday, July 5. Times vary, see hours. Today from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Wednesday Storytime at Barnes and Noble

Who: Young children and their parents or guardians.

What: Get ready to laugh, sing, and dance during Wednesday Storytime at Barnes and Noble. Join the excitement while enjoying a fun-filled reading of favorite children’s books.

Sewing Workshops with Crafty Katie

Who: Children ages 3 and up.

What: Children learn to sew with Crafty Katie. They will learn to make fun and unique crafts using colorful, easy-to-use sewing machines. Crafty Katie teaches sewing in a patient, encouraging manner allowing children to take breaks when they get too frustrated or overwhelmed.

Where: It’s Sew Crafty, 1860 Springfield Avenue, Maplewood, NJ.

The LEGO Store Grand Opening Celebration in NYC

Who: Everyone of all ages.

What: Celebrate the grand opening of the new flagship LEGO Store in Rockefeller Center by helping LEGO Master Model Builders build a giant 15-foot apple out of LEGO bricks!
