New Jersey Outlaws Opening Night: Fall Festival

What: The New Jersey Outlaws will play its home opener against the Danbury Whalers. For the home opener, the NJ Outlaws are going all out for families. The  first 1000 fans that enter the arena will receive a pair of Thundersticks sponsored by Pro-Stich Embroidery of Wayne to help rock the house! In addition the Outlaws Home Opener will have a Halloween theme throughout the night and encourage fans to come dressed in costume to win a pair of tickets to the Phantasmal Haunt located in the Willowbrook Mall, as well as Outlaws apparel and tickets to a future Outlaws game. There will be trick or treating for the kids and an autograph session after the game  too!

Percy Jerkson and The Ovolactovegetarians with illustrator Rick Parker

The Laramie Project

What: West Orange High School Drama Department will perform the play, The Laramie Project this October. In October 1998 Matthew Shepard was kidnapped, severely beaten and left to die on the outskirts of Laramie, Wyoming. Five weeks later, Moises Kaufman and fellow members of the Tectonic Theater Project went to Laramie, and over the course of the next year, conducted more than 200 interviews with people of the town. From these interviews they wrote the play The Laramie Project.

Traditional Jazz Night for Kids
