What: The superintendents of the Livingston, Millburn, South-Orange/Maplewood, Summit and West Orange school districts are hosting a region-wide open forum on legislative topics affecting education in New Jersey. Residents from all of these towns and beyond are welcome and encouraged to attend this forum. After a brief summary of each of the topics by the district superintendents, the invited guests will share their perspectives from where they sit in Trenton. They will then form a panel for an interactive question and answer session with the audience. Moderating the Forum will be Mr. John Mooney, Founder and Education Writer, NJ Spotlight.

In October 1998 Matthew Shepard was kidnapped, severely beaten and left to die on the outskirts of Laramie, Wyoming. Five weeks later, Moises Kaufman and fellow members of the Tectonic Theater Project went to Laramie, and over the course of the next year, conducted more than 200 interviews with people of the town. From these interviews they wrote the play The Laramie Project.
