Who: Newborns-23 month olds
What: This lap program is designed to acquaint parents and caregivers with the resources available in the library for their children. Rhymes, songs, language activities, and board books will be introduced during each session. Make baby’s first library experience a special one. Children of all abilities are welcome.
When: Wednesdays, November 21 & 28, December 5 & 12. Newborns to 13 months at 10:30 am; 14-23 months at 11:30 am
Where: Montclair Public Library, 50 Fullerton Avenue, Montclair
Cost: Free. Registration is required for all of these programs unless otherwise noted. Montclair card holders receive priority registration. Register by calling: 973-744-0500 ext. 2236.

What: Join us for this informal, relaxed, monthly discussion group on parenting issues. We address topics that matter most to parents of preschoolers. Learn what works for other parents and share your experiences. Coffee and snacks are provided. Younger siblings are welcome.

Who: All ages
What: Please join us for “Home for the Holidays” to benefit MFEE programs in Montclair Public Schools. The day will include: A self-guided tour of some of Montclair’s most beautiful homes dressed up in their holiday finest. Each home will offer treats provided by local restaurants and bakeries, display elegant table settings and floral arrangements, and a different raffle for prizes like a big screen TV. A Celebratory Breakfast featuring guest speakers Mike Carrino, winner of the Food Network’s Chopped, and NJ Monthly’s Style Editor, Susan Brierly, who will spotlight popular seasonal gifts. And a VIP Cocktail Party held at one of our enchanting Holiday Homes. More info can be found at the website.
