Who: Ridgewood Avenue School students (3rd-6th grade).
What: A fun-filled 1 1/2 hours of gym games for kids supervised by a qualified staff!
Where: Ridgewood Avenue School, 220 Ridgewood Avenue, Glen Ridge, NJ.
When: Fridays December 7, 14 and 21, January 4 (grades 3 & 4 only due to 6th grade dance), 11 (grades 3 & 4 only due to 5th grade dance), 18 and 25, and February 1, 8, 15 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm for grades 3 & 4 and 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm
Cost: Free, but registration must be made online! Click here and click on Youth Recreation Programs and then click on the Friday Night Rec box. Due to space restraints and in order to provide a safe environment, this program is limited to 40 students per session on a “first come – first served” basis. What: Angelcakes Custom Cake Shop and home of the Itsy Bitsy Tea Party will be hosting a decorating cookie event. You can go decorate cookies to take home and leave for Santa on that special night.

When: Friday, December 21 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Cost:  For $15 children will receive 3 large sugar cookies and a delicious cup of hot cocoa and a yummy array of desserts. (Parents are welcome to snack also.) Pre-registration is required. What: Bill “The Train Guy” Cinque comes back to the Roseland Free Public Library to set up his 10^th annual working holiday train exhibit. Enjoy the lights, moving trains, and quaint homes that make up this railroad. As a bonus, all visitors get a 10-year commemorative train pin!

What: Go to the Science Center between December 21 and January 1 (except for December 25) for all sorts of cool, winter-based activities. This sixth annual celebration of science is sure to be a blast for ages 3 and up. Activities are available on a first come, first served basis. Most of the activities are free with paid admission but some require a sign up or extra fee, check activity details for more information.
