Who: All ages.
What: An exciting new offering for Temple Ner Tamid this year, offering the artistically inclined a chance to combine their talents with the study of sacred text. The course will begin with group text study and an introduction to midrash. The class will meet monthly to discuss the text and share and discuss the progression of their artwork. Students will do the majority of their artwork at home or in their personal studio. The class is a unique way to study, meet other Temple members and express your Judaic soul through an atristic medium.
The artists and instructions, Cantorial Assistant Ronni Pressman and Vicki Reikes Fox, are each exceptional artists, and have been participating and leading similar groups for many years both in NYC and locally.
Where: Temple Ner Tamid, 936 Broad Street, Bloomfield, NJ.
When: Thursdays, January 31, February 28, March 28 and April 25.
Cost: $36.
