Science Meets Music with Diane Moser

What: Bring your instruments and voices! Jazz pianist and composer, Diane Moser, will conduct a workshop about Pythagoras and his discovery of musical ratios, and astronomer Johannes Kepler’s use of those ratios to discover the orbits of planet. Workshop participants will convert measurements to musical intervals, upload their sounds on the computer using the Sound Cloud, and then arrange the recorded sounds into an original group composition.
