What: Grounds For Sculpture presents MM2 Modern Dance’s Philly Fringe Preview of THREE, a collection of visual short stories that are each three minutes or less. Each member of the company is challenged to create a carefully choreographed piece that conveys an idea or emotion in a brief, fixed amount of time. While this may sound easy, it takes a considerable amount of skill and imagination to effectively communicate in such a short span of time!
Where: Grounds for Sculpture, 18 Fairgrounds Road, Hamilton, NJ.

Cost: Free with museum admission.

Paleo-Art Weekend

What: What’s paleo-art? Simply, it’s art that depicts subjects related to paleontology. We’ve got step-by-step instructions on how to draw dinosaurs and create a colossal mural. Get your hands dirty learning what it means to be a dig site sketcher.
Where: Field Station Dinosaurs, 1 Dinosaur Way, Secaucus, NJ.
When: Saturday, August 17 and Sunday, August 18 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

New York Renaissance Faire

What: The Faire is a rollicking romp through Elizabethan England complete with 16th Century games, rides, arts, crafts, food music and dance. Join in on the fun and go in costume!
